The breathtaking Rocky Mountains provide a picturesque
backdrop for Denver, a city brimming with activity and excitement.
The Mile-High City has hundreds of miles of paved biking
trails winding throughout the area, and mountains packed with some
of the nations best skiing are just a short drive away. Downtown
is bustling day and night, with entertainment ranging from Rockies
games at Coors Field to live theater at the Denver Performing Arts
Complex. The LoDo district is filled with restaurants and clubs, great
for finding an excellent meal and some good regional brews. Whether
strolling down the sunny 16th Street Mall or pursuing outdoor adventures
on a nearby mountain peak, Denver affords unique sights and experiences
thanks to its superb location and friendly locals.
It is springtime, and Denver is sweeping the streets again. I was rushing to meet a friend for lunch in the Highland Square retail area at 32nd Avenue and Lowell Boulevard.
